Locals craving a flavorful lunch with a Texas twist headed to Bread Garden Bakery this Tuesday for the weekly event that’s quickly becoming a town favorite: Taco Tuesday.
This week’s feature? Smoked MTXBeef tenderloin tips tacos, kicked up a notch with a dollop of Old Bones Chili Churry and finished with chopped onions. The tacos come served hot with a side of rice and beans, giving diners a filling and fiery midday option.
In addition to the taco plate, the bakery offered hearty beef soup and a classic bread pudding for dessert, rounding out a comforting West Texas meal.
Located at 801 E Holland Ave, Bread Garden Bakery is best known for its sourdough bread, bagels, and English muffins. But come Tuesdays, the kitchen shifts to tacos with a gourmet edge — and the lunch crowd is responding.
Taco Tuesday meals are available from 12 to 2 p.m., with preorders encouraged via phone at (432) 244-7478.
