Community members gathered last week at the Fort Davis Fire Station for a Siren Sound Off in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The event was organized by the Jeff Davis County Child Welfare Board in partnership with the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office, Children’s Advocacy Center of the Big Bend, Fort Davis Fire Department, Davis Mountains Resort Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Rangers, and AEP Texas.
Together, these agencies and residents raised awareness for child abuse prevention and showed their commitment to protecting children and supporting families across the region.
