Presidio Hosts 4th Annual Siren Sound-Off Parade Against Child Abuse

Law enforcement agencies from across the area came together for the 4th Annual Siren Sound-Off Against Child Abuse Parade, an event aimed at raising awareness and standing in solidarity with victims and survivors of child abuse.

Hosted by the Presidio Child Advocacy Center, the event featured a strong community turnout and support from multiple agencies. Special thanks were extended to Shanna and Lupe Carrera for organizing the event and leading local advocacy efforts.

Presidio Police Department, along with Presidio County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies, participated in the parade and community cookout. Officer Joel Nunez and PCSO deputies were on grill duty, serving food as part of the event’s festivities.

The Siren Sound-Off Parade continues to grow as a symbol of community unity and commitment to child safety. Organizers emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement, advocacy organizations, and the public in the fight to protect the most vulnerable members of the community.
