U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Marfa Station seized more than 320 pounds of marijuana with the assistance of K9 units, according to a recent announcement from the Big Bend Sector.
The narcotics were intercepted before reaching area communities. The individual involved is being charged under 21 U.S.C. 841, a federal statute related to the distribution and possession of controlled substances.
The agency praised the teamwork involved in the operation, highlighting it as part of ongoing efforts to enhance border security across West Texas.
