Residents of Fort Davis came together Saturday morning for the town’s annual Keep Texas Beautiful spring cleanup event. From 9 to 11 a.m., volunteers gathered to pick up trash around the community as part of the statewide beautification effort.
Participants met at the Fort Davis Chamber of Commerce before heading out with bags and gloves to collect litter along roadsides and public areas. The event drew community members of all ages, reflecting Fort Davis’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and civic pride.
The cleanup is part of the broader Keep Texas Beautiful initiative, which encourages towns across the state to organize local efforts that improve the appearance and health of their communities.
