The Alpine ISD Board of Trustees has announced new principals for Alpine Elementary School and Alpine High School for the 2025–26 school year.
Kelli Davies has been selected as the next principal of Alpine Elementary School. Davies brings a decade of experience in Texas public education, including three years at Alpine Elementary as both a teacher and assistant principal. Her background includes working with students in grades Pre-K through 4, including those in special education. Her leadership approach emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
Luane Porter has been named the next principal of Alpine High School. Porter has over 20 years of experience in education, including roles as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal in the Big Bend region. Her leadership focuses on building relationships, effective communication, and maintaining high expectations.
Both appointments reflect the district’s commitment to strong, student-centered leadership as the campuses look ahead to the upcoming school year.
