Fort Stockton Community Theatre to Host Original Musical Murders and Moontowers April 5

The Fort Stockton Community Theatre will present Murders and Moontowers, an original musical comedy written and performed by Texas Comedies of Austin, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson Street Theatre, 102 S. Nelson St.

Sponsored by Georgia and Bentley King – Southwest Marketers, the performance will be followed by a meet-the-cast reception.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors (65+) and students. Advance tickets are available online at https://our.show/jp35475h31. No refunds will be issued. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain. Reserved tickets are held until 10 minutes before showtime and may be released for general admission if unclaimed. Late seating is not guaranteed, and all exterior doors will be locked once the show begins.

Set in 1880s Austin, Murders and Moontowers follows the chaotic investigation of the “Servant Girl Annihilator” murders—seven killings that pushed a young police force to the brink. The one-hour musical explores the aftermath of the crime spree, the electrification of the city, and the construction of Austin’s now-iconic Moonlight Towers. Performed by a cast of seven with a live band, the show blends history and humor in a fast-paced retelling of one of Texas’s earliest unsolved mysteries.
