Terlingua Fire & EMS is celebrating the achievements of three local firefighters who recently completed their Firefighter I certification through the Big Bend Regional Fire Academy.
Firefighters Jaime Weatherford, Chris Rogers, and firefighter/EMT Chantal Baker were recognized for their dedication and hard work since beginning the intensive training in December. The Firefighter I certification requires more than 200 hours of coursework and hands-on practice.
“We’re so proud of you all for your hard work and commitment to the Terlingua community,” said Susan Martin, Chief of Terlingua Fire and EMS. “Your bond is unbreakable, and we can’t wait to see you in action.”
The department thanked the trio for their service and commitment to public safety in the region.
