The Alpine Cowboys Pro Baseball Club will celebrate the 10th year of its Home Run 5K & 10K on Saturday, May 24, at Kokernot Field, with a weekend of races, baseball, and community festivities.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. Race day activities kick off Saturday morning with race day packet pickup from 8 to 8:55 a.m., followed by the 10K and 5K walk start at 9 a.m. and the 5K run start at 9:15 a.m. A Kid Fun Run will take place at 11 a.m. on Kokernot Field, followed by an Alpine Cowboys inner squad game at 11:30 a.m.
All runners will cross home plate to finish, after rounding the bases at Kokernot Field. Post-race celebrations will include hot dogs, fruit, water, finisher medals, and craft beer from Brick Vault Brewery, with additional food and drinks available at the concession stand.
Early bird registration is open through April 1. Participants paying by cash or check may do so in person at Ellyson Abstract.
