The Fort Davis National Historic Site has announced the cancellation of its historic weapons demonstration originally scheduled for Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
According to park officials, the event was called off due to unforeseen low staffing levels. In a statement, the site emphasized its commitment to safety and security, noting that it could not proceed with the program as planned.
The park thanked visitors for their understanding and said updates will be provided regarding rescheduling or alternative events.
Officials expressed regret for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause for visitors and encouraged continued engagement with future programming.
