One Tail at a Time, an organization dedicated to celebrating pets and their owners, will host a party on Saturday, February 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Siempre Marfa (217 East San Antonio Street). The formal portion of the evening begins at 6:15 p.m.
After six years of rescuing pets under the name The Underground Dog, the Marfa-based group is expanding its mission, now operating alongside sister organizations in Portland and Chicago. The Texas branch has acquired staff to support seven regional shelters and shelter-less communities across nine West Texas counties.
