Marfa Invitational Expands to Santa Fe with New Tesuque Event

The Marfa Invitational art fair is broadening its reach with the announcement of a new event, the Tesuque Invitational, set to take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the nearby village of Tesuque from October 21 to 26, 2025. According to the Big Bend Sentinel, the week-long celebration will feature exhibitions, gallery openings, studio visits, artist and collector talks, home and private collection tours, outdoor installations, and performances throughout Santa Fe’s vibrant art and design community.

Founded in 2018 by Michael Phelan and Melissa Bent, the Marfa Invitational has gained recognition as an annual art fair held each May at Saint George Hall in Marfa, drawing artists and galleries from around the world. The organization also operates a sculpture park on Highway 90 outside of Marfa. With this new expansion, the Marfa Invitational aims to bring its signature blend of contemporary art and culture to the growing art scene in Santa Fe.
