Rodeo enthusiasts are invited to the Friday Night Lights Jackpot event on January 24, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Sale Arena in Alpine. This evening of thrilling competition will feature barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping, showcasing local talent and providing fun for all ages.
The schedule kicks off with Time Only/Exhibitions at 5:00 p.m. ($3 per run). At 6:00 p.m., the Open 4D Barrel Race ($40) and Youth 3D Barrel Race ($20, for ages 14 and under) will take place. Open and Youth barrel races will run together.
Rodeo Run events include Breakaway Roping, with one run for $20 and up to five entries per participant. Youth (14 and under) and Open divisions will be run separately. Team Roping participants can also enter at $20 per man, with the option to compete with different partners.
All timed events will use a rope barrier, with NIRA rules applied across all events, except for Youth Breakaway, which will follow Jr. High rules.
