Agave Festival Marfa, an annual celebration of the cultural diversity and natural heritage of the Trans-Pecos and Chihuahuan Desert region, will take place from June 5 to June 8, 2025. Featuring a mix of expert talks, food and spirits, and border-inspired music, the festival offers an immersive exploration of the region’s rich traditions.

Most events are free and open to the public, providing accessible opportunities to engage with the unique aspects of the desert’s culture and ecology. Scheduled activities include daily talks at the Crowley Theater, located at 98 South Austin Street in Marfa, as well as guided hikes at the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI).
Visitors can shop for festival merchandise, including Agave Festival Marfa t-shirts and posters, and enjoy local lodging options such as Hotel Saint George, El Cosmico, Thunderbird, and Hotel Paisano.
Travelers heading to Marfa from El Paso or Midland can follow straightforward routes via major highways, while private flights can be accommodated at municipal airports in Marfa or Alpine. Transportation from these airports to festival venues will need to be arranged independently.
