Texas State Parks Centennial projects, funded in part by private donations, have enhanced accessibility and expanded resources at parks across the state, including several in the West Texas region.
Big Bend Ranch State Park, Davis Mountains State Park, and Devils River Natural Area north of Del Rio are among the beneficiaries of these initiatives. Big Bend Ranch received a search and rescue vehicle, Davis Mountains added astronomy equipment, and Devils River acquired kayaks and related gear.
These upgrades are part of the broader Centennial celebration, aimed at improving visitor experiences and accessibility throughout the Texas State Parks system.
