Sanderson Border Patrol Station: Safeguarding the Border for Nearly a Century

Established in 1924, the Sanderson Border Patrol Station has been a cornerstone of border security operations in West Texas for nearly a century.

Located on Highway 90 West, the station is positioned on the eastern edge of the Big Bend Sector, adjacent to the western boundary of the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector. Its area of responsibility covers all of Terrell County, the southeastern portion of Brewster County, and the southern part of Pecos County.

Spanning approximately 3,000 square miles, the station oversees 91 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border, conducting operations critical to maintaining border security in the region.
