Marathon Public Library’s Year-End Campaign Surpasses Goals, Raising Over $26,000

The Marathon Public Library is celebrating a highly successful conclusion to its Year-End Campaign, “Growing and Gathering,” which raised a remarkable $26,733. This achievement was significantly boosted by the generosity of donors, including a pivotal contribution from the Carl C. Anderson Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation. The foundation provided matching funds that were instrumental in the $10,000 Holiday Challenge, helping to drive donations during the critical holiday season.

The funds raised during this campaign are earmarked for a very special milestone in 2025—the library’s relocation to a new building. The Marathon Public Library team is eager to utilize these contributions to enhance their new space with essential resources and services that cater to their community’s needs. The focus will be on expanding access to educational materials and community programs that enrich the lives of all patrons.

The library expresses profound gratitude to all its supporters, emphasizing that the success of this campaign reflects the community’s strong belief in the library’s mission. As the library prepares to transition to its new home, it looks forward to fostering growth and strengthening community ties even further.

With great anticipation and renewed vigor, the Marathon Public Library is set to make 2025 a transformative year, thanks to the continued support and engagement of its patrons and donors.
