Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities: The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses for student-athletes. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with medical and administrative records and insurance coordination.
- Providing emergency medical evaluations and treatments during practices and competitions.
- Maintaining communication about the status of injuries with relevant athletic staff.
- Managing inventory, purchasing, and maintenance of training supplies and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with federal rules and regulations related to student privacy and health information.
Working Conditions: This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends to cover university athletic events. It involves significant interaction with student-athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals.
