Alpine Independent School District (Alpine ISD) will see a significant boost in interactive learning as nine teachers return to their classrooms on Monday equipped with brand new Promethean Boards. This enhancement comes courtesy of a generous donation from the Prentice & Alline Brown Foundation, which was aimed at providing advanced instructional technology to schools within the district.
The initiative, part of the #InvestInAlpine project, targeted classrooms at both Alpine Elementary School (AES) and Alpine Middle School (AMS) that had not previously had access to these modern interactive displays. The boards are expected to enrich the educational experience, offering students and teachers alike a dynamic tool for learning and engagement.
The installation of these Promethean Boards was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Nabor Gonzales and David Young, who took on the technical setup. Darin Nance and Chayo Gonzales were instrumental in coordinating the project, ensuring that the implementation went smoothly and that the resources were ready for use at the start of the school week.
Alpine ISD has expressed immense gratitude towards the Brown Foundation for their support in bringing another #InvestInAlpine project to fruition. This project not only enhances the educational landscape at AES and AMS but also marks a significant investment in the future of Alpine’s students and staff.
