Alpine ISD is celebrating the outstanding achievements of two of its Lady Bucks who have been recognized by the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA). Senior Jaycee Portillo and junior Peyton Kinkade have made notable marks this season, leading to their selection for prestigious state teams.


Jaycee Portillo, wearing jersey #10, has been named to the TGCA 3A All-State Team. Her performance this season has set her apart as one of the top players in the state, showcasing her skills and leadership on the court.
Joining her in accolades, Peyton Kinkade, jersey #4, has been selected for the TGCA 1A-4A All-Star Team. As a junior, Kinkade has demonstrated exceptional talent and promise, contributing significantly to the team’s successes this year.
The selections are a testament to the hard work and dedication of these student-athletes, as well as the strong development program within Alpine ISD’s athletics department. The district and community are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing what they will accomplish in their future athletic endeavors.
The Lady Bucks’ coach expressed pride in the players’ accomplishments, noting that their hard work and dedication have been key to their success.
