This unique opportunity, open to the public and free of charge, will take participants on a 1.5-mile guided hike through the stunning landscapes of the Chihuahuan Desert, located just four miles southeast of Fort Davis, Texas.
Event Details and Educational Journey: Starting at 1 p.m., Dr. Graham will lead attendees along the trails of the CDRI, located at 43869 St. Hwy 118, Fort Davis, TX 79734. During the hike, he will delve into the intricacies of the desert ecosystem, drawing from his extensive research and his new book, “North American Deserts.” This informative hike is designed to enhance understanding of the desert’s unique flora, fauna, and geological features.
Meet and Greet Plus Book Signing: Following the hike, participants will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Graham during a book signing session.
