The Prowler basketball teams from Fort Stockton faced challenging games against the Midland Lady Dawgs, displaying moments of resilience and skill across different levels.
On December 17, 2024, the Freshman Prowlers took to the court, ending the game with a 20-31 loss. Despite the tough competition, Edaina Sanchez emerged as a standout player, leading her team with 10 points.
The JV Prowlers showed strong energy right from the start, clinching a 37-29 victory over Midland. Addison Castro starred in the game, scoring an impressive 23 points and leading her team to a well-earned win.
The Varsity Prowlers encountered a challenging start but rallied in the second half to narrow the points gap against the Lady Dawgs. Although they ultimately faced a 43-61 defeat, the team demonstrated notable determination. Kailyn Reeves led with 14 points, supported by Kimbree Norman who added 8 points to the team’s tally.
Coach Perez commented on the varsity team’s performance, noting, “Our team showed great resilience and a strong ability to bounce back. Their second-half performance highlights their spirit and determination.”
