This December, the stirring sounds of the Old West and heartfelt Americana will echo through Texas’s Big Bend region, as “Righteous Intonation” and Anna La Mare bring their “Righteous Intonation Album Release Tour” to Marathon, Alpine, and Terlingua.
Righteous Intonation, a San Antonio-based Country Western band, melds bluegrass foundations with tales of the rugged landscapes and historical echoes of the American West. Their new album brings stories of westward expansion, riverboat tragedies, and gold-mining ghost towns to life with a mix of warm harmonies and the striking musicianship known as fingers of white lightning.

Joining them is Anna La Mare, a nomadic singer-songwriter whose music, described as ’emotional honey’ and ‘a soul-driven embodiment of Joni Mitchell,’ offers a safe harbor within her stormy and poetic soundscape. Together, they promise shows filled with raw emotion and rich storytelling.
