The changeover from the summer to winter hours includes a brief closure on November 4 and November 5, with the port reopening on Wednesday, November 6, and continuing with the new schedule thereafter.

During operational hours, travelers can access the Mexican village either on foot during low water levels or via a rowboat ferry service, which is available for a fee.
