Late Saturday night, agents from the U.S. Border Patrol’s Big Bend Sector, in collaboration with the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office, apprehended an undocumented migrant near Sanderson, Texas. According to the Big Bend Sector’s official Facebook page, the individual had previously been deported and was twice convicted of sex offenses in Oklahoma.
This arrest underscores the ongoing cooperation between local law enforcement and U.S. Border Patrol agents in monitoring and securing the border areas. The agencies involved continue their vigilance in safeguarding the communities within the Big Bend Sector, which spans some of the most challenging terrains along the U.S.-Mexico border.
