Aramark is seeking a Security Worker for a seasonal position at Big Bend Station in Terlingua, Texas. The role involves maintaining the safety and security of the site, assisting visitors, and enforcing regulations. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring security systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. The position also requires preparing reports, conducting inspections, and working closely with local Fire and Police officials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol buildings and property, lock/unlock doors
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and control access
- Inspect buildings for safety violations and hazards
- Respond to emergency situations
- Escort visitors, guests, and employees
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain confidentiality
- Control parking and vehicular traffic
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience preferred
- Knowledge of security procedures, including search and seizure, and interviewing techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and frequent walking/standing
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
