Permits Issued for New Dollar General Store in Terlingua

Permits have been issued for the construction of Dollar General Store #31161 in Terlingua, located on FM 170 near Highway 118. According to state filings, the 10,640-square-foot project, valued at $600,000, is a new construction development that will expand retail options in the area.

The project is set for completion by January 15, 2025, with construction officially registered to begin on September 1, 2024. The development is privately funded, and the design and construction are being overseen by Kinetic Design & Development out of Springfield, Missouri.
