Now that temps are coming down, Friends of Ruidosa Church are back to making bricks. The next adobe day will be in Marfa this Saturday, September 28 from 10-4PM at Joey Benton’s adobe yard at 800 Galveston. Just head through the open gate when you arrive.
You can expect to learn about the adobe making process and traditional earthen building methods with our team while working hard and getting dirty! All bricks made will be transported down to the church site and used in the next phase of restoration.
➖All are welcome, including children. This event is free.

➖We will provide water and drinks and a simple lunch
➖Please come prepared for the desert with long sleeved shirts, long pants, work boots, big hats and gloves.
