Tall City Brewing is bringing back its popular Invitational for the third year, promising an even bigger and better celebration of craft beer. Scheduled for September 7th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (with VIP access starting at 2:00 p.m.), the event will take place at Tall City Brewing in Midland, Texas.
Craft beer enthusiasts can look forward to sampling over 100 different beers from more than 20 breweries, with a wide range of Texas craft beer merchandise also available. This year’s lineup features breweries from across the state, including representatives from cities like Galveston, Houston, and Austin, along with West Texas favorites such as Brickvault, Old Sheepdog, and Deadbeach. The event will also showcase a few out-of-state breweries from Colorado.
For those who prefer alternatives to beer, the festival will offer wine from Château Wright Winery of Fort Davis and cider from Hye Cider.
The 2024 Invitational is themed “The Great Marathon,” inviting guests to embark on a craft beer “marathon” (with no running involved) to discover some of the finest beers Texas has to offer. In keeping with the tradition of incorporating West Texas wildlife into the event’s theme, this year’s focus is on the Chaparral, or Roadrunner. Fun fact: a group of roadrunners is called a “Marathon.”
In addition to the beer offerings, the event will feature live music, vendors, and food trucks, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees must be 21 or older to participate.
Tickets can be purchased at Tall City Brewing’s event page.
