About Ranch Rodeo

Ranch rodeos provide a platform for working ranch cowboys to demonstrate their skills and compete in events that mirror their daily tasks. Unlike pro rodeo cowboys, who make their living from rodeoing, ranch cowboys work on cattle ranches and participate in rodeos to celebrate their lifestyle and heritage.

The Working Ranch Cowboys Association (WRCA) was established in 1995 to celebrate and preserve this way of life. WRCA-sanctioned rodeos, like the Big Bend Ranch Rodeo, offer cowboys a chance to compete for a spot in the World Championship Ranch Rodeo.

Event Schedule

  • August 9: WRCA Adult Performance at 7:00 p.m.
  • August 10: WRCA Youth Performance at 11:00 a.m. and WRCA Adult Performance at 7:00 p.m.

Don’t miss the chance to witness the authentic skills and thrilling performances at the 2024 Big Bend Ranch Rodeo.
