Alpine FFA Shines at 96th Texas FFA State Convention in Houston

Alpine ISD proudly announces the outstanding achievements of its FFA members at the 96th Texas FFA State Convention held in Houston this week. The Alpine FFA delegation showcased their dedication and excellence, bringing home significant honors and recognition.

The team included Allison Sanchez, Kendyl Hardaway (Area II Officer), Kylie Maroney (Alpine FFA Chapter Officer), Reese Coleman (Big Bend District Officer), Evelyn Smith (Alpine FFA Chapter Officer), and Sophie Janis. During the convention, Allison Sanchez received her Lone Star FFA Degree, one of the highest honors in the Texas FFA program.

Throughout the convention, the students participated in multiple sessions, adopting the 2024-25 Texas FFA budget, approving award recipients, and adopting two amendments to the Texas FFA constitution. They also enjoyed speeches from State Officers and voted for the 2024-25 Texas FFA State Officer team.

In addition to individual accolades, the Alpine FFA delegation was presented with a banner for being in the Top 10 Overall Sales for their meat and fruit sales in 2023, reflecting the hard work and community support behind their fundraising efforts.

“We are incredibly proud of our exceptional FFA program and everyone who contributes to its success,” said an Alpine ISD representative. “Congratulations to all our Alpine FFA Bucks on a great showing in Houston this week!”
