Texas Community Futures Forum to Address Local Issues in Tri-County Area

Community members from Brewster, Jeff Davis, and Presidio Counties are invited to participate in the Texas Community Futures Forum (TCFF), aimed at identifying key local concerns. The forum, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be held on April 29 at 5:30 P.M. at the Brewster-Jeff Davis County Extension Office in Alpine.

The event is designed to gather public input to ensure that upcoming educational programs align with the most critical needs in agriculture and natural resources, family and health, youth development, and community development. These programs have played a significant role in addressing local issues and enhancing community well-being.

Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives and contribute to shaping future Extension initiatives. The forum is expected to last less than two hours, acknowledging the value of community members’ time.

For more information or to RSVP, contact the Extension office at (432)-837-6207 or email luke.hendryx@ag.tamu.edu. Community engagement and input are highly valued, and organizers express their appreciation for local involvement.

“Your opinion is highly valued in our community, so we truly hope you can join us,” stated the event organizers, highlighting the importance of community feedback in the development of targeted and effective local programs.
