Lubbock to Host Prestigious 98th Annual Meeting of West Texas Historical Association

The West Texas Historical Association is gearing up to host its 98th Annual Meeting in Lubbock, Texas, from April 4th to April 6th, 2024, promising a blend of scholarly presentations, networking opportunities, and community engagement. Scheduled to take place at several key locations around the city, the event is anticipated to draw historians, scholars, students, and local history enthusiasts from across the region.

The meeting will kick off on Thursday, April 4th, with an Early Bird Dinner at the MCM Elegante, setting the stage for a series of events designed to foster collaboration and discussion among attendees. The following day, participants will start their morning with the Edwards Plateau Historical Association Breakfast at the same venue, before diving into a full day of presentation sessions from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
