Plans are underway to breathe new life into the historic Ritchey Bros. General Merchandise building, located just south of the renowned Gage Hotel. The building, which formerly served as a fitness center for hotel guests, is undergoing a full-scale renovation to transform it into an event space named Bryan Hall.
According to onsite workers, the transformation aims to preserve the integrity and heritage of the original structure while providing a modern, versatile space for events. While the timeline for completion is yet to be announced, the decision by the Gage Hotel Group to repurpose the space is expected to cater to the growing demand for event venues in the region.
The Gage Hotel, which has long been a landmark in the area, now has an additional offering to its guests and the wider community. As Marathon continues to be a sought-after destination for visitors, the addition of Bryan Hall will undoubtedly enhance the town’s allure for events and gatherings.
