Terlingua Fire & EMS to Distribute Bottled Water Amid South Brewster County Water Shortage

In response to a water shortage affecting South Brewster County, Terlingua Fire & EMS has stepped up to provide much-needed relief to the community. Cases of bottled water will be distributed at their location, offering essential support to residents facing water scarcity.

Distribution Details:

  • Location: Terlingua Fire and EMS, 23250 FM 170, Terlingua, TX 79852
  • Distribution Hours: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., starting from Wednesday, October 11th
  • Limit: 1 CASE PER HOUSEHOLD

A convenient drive-through system has been established on the east side of the fire station, marked by orange traffic cones for easy access.

This lifesaving initiative would not have been possible without the generosity of the Texas Division of Emergency Management and Brewster County. Their donation of 10 pallets of water serves as a lifeline for community members grappling with the water shortage.

Terlingua Fire & EMS is calling on everyone to share this information widely to ensure that those in need are aware of this vital resource. In times of crisis, solidarity and community support play a pivotal role in navigating challenges.
