DB’s Rustic Iron BBQ Responds to Water Supply Alert by Temporarily Closing

DB’s Rustic Iron BBQ, a cherished local eatery, is taking responsible action in response to a crucial water supply notice. With safety and community well-being in mind, the restaurant has chosen to temporarily close its doors as part of a proactive effort to address water supply concerns.

This decision comes as a response to a notification from the Study Butte Water Supply Corporation, dated October 9, 2023. The Corporation’s notice highlighted the urgency of preventing a potential catastrophic failure of the water system. In their message, residents were earnestly requested to voluntarily shut off their water meters for the next 24 hours. This temporary reduction in water usage is pivotal in preventing the depletion of the water tanks, a situation that could take up to 48 hours to rectify.

In addition to the conservation efforts, the community has been placed under a boil notice. This preventive measure involves bypassing the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to ensure the water supply’s stability, further underlining the commitment to safeguarding the community against potential disruptions.

DB’s Rustic Iron BBQ’s proactive closure reflects their dedication to supporting the community during this critical time, aligning with collective efforts to conserve water resources and maintain essential water supply services.
