From October 5 through December 16, Maintenant will be the exclusive host for Matt Scobey’s thought-provoking sculptural and mixed media creations. Timed to coincide with Chinati Weekend, this exhibit will be accessible to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering ample opportunities to delve into Scobey’s exceptional works.
Matt Scobey, a celebrated local artist recognized for his innovative approach to sculpture and mixed media, brings a distinctive perspective to Marfa’s thriving art scene. His exhibit, “With Every Action,” is set to captivate viewers with its blend of intriguing concepts and visually striking pieces.
Maintenant, established in 2020, has a mission to celebrate and share the works and musings of artists, musicians, filmmakers, writers, furniture makers, designers, and creatives of every ilk in Marfa, Texas. It stands as a dynamic platform supporting Marfa’s vibrant artistic community.
