The gesture was a poignant reminder of the essential role that teachers play in shaping the future of our community and nation. Mayor Catherine Eaves, speaking on behalf of the city, expressed gratitude for the unwavering commitment of these educators to the Alpine ISD students and the community as a whole.

World Teachers’ Day, established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), celebrates the significant role teachers play in providing quality education.
