Brewster County’s First Semi-Annual School Safety Meeting Ensures Vigilance

In adherence to Section 25 of Texas House Bill 3, Sheriff Dodson convened a crucial gathering on Wednesday morning that marked a significant step towards enhancing school safety. Representatives from every educational institution in Brewster County, along with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as emergency medical services (EMS) and fire departments, convened at Sul Ross State University for the inaugural semi-annual countywide school safety meeting.

This gathering, mandated by the state’s legislation, underlines the unwavering commitment of Brewster County to safeguarding its educational institutions.
