Its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program caters to the Big Bend Region and is specifically crafted to produce nursing professionals who can serve the unique needs of rural border communities in Texas. The program’s curriculum is an amalgamation of in-person, online, simulation laboratories, and clinical learning environments. As an integral part of this curriculum, the donated beds from Crane Memorial Hospital will further equip the university’s simulation labs, providing students with real-world equipment to practice on.
Furthermore, SRSU offers an RN to BSN completion program for licensed nurses wanting to advance their qualifications. This program is structured to facilitate learning for working professionals, with courses designed to provide flexibility in student progression.
