Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love 2023 Announces Lineup

The highly anticipated 17th Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love, hosted by El Cosmico, reveals an exciting artist lineup scheduled from Thursday, September 28 through Sunday, October 1, 2023. Notable headliners include Spoon, Neal Francis, and The Heavy Heavy, joined by an array of talented artists such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Ben Kweller, and many more.

This year’s festival is significant as it marks the final event at the original El Cosmico location. Future editions will transition to the expanded El Cosmico site, featuring innovative 3D printed structures, a result of a collaboration between ICON, a leader in advanced construction technologies, and BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, a globally renowned architecture firm. The revamped location will also showcase a set of 3D printed residences named Sunday Homes, conceptualized by BIG. More about these homes can be explored at El Cosmico’s website.

Besides the musical extravaganza, the festival aims to provide a holistic experience to attendees. It’s set in the picturesque West Texas desert, offering unique opportunities for attendees to engage in diverse activities. From day parties to workshops, a vendor marketplace, the El Cosmetico pop-up desert spa, the El Cosmicuts barber shop, food trucks, tattoo services, and much more – the festival promises a comprehensive and immersive experience.

Music enthusiasts can look forward to these highlight performances:

  • Saturday: Featuring artists such as Spoon, Meshell Ndegeocello, Ben Kweller, and more.
  • Friday: Noteworthy acts include The Heavy Heavy, Heartless Bastards, Kara Jackson, among others.
