Terlingua Community Garden Completes Water Catchment Project with Help from Local Volunteers

In an effort to provide ample rainwater for the Terlingua Community Garden, volunteers Josh Keenan of Keen Plumbing and Philip have successfully completed the final section of the water catchment gutter system on the Starlight Theatre. The project, undertaken in collaboration with Ghosttown properties, not only achieves the goal of capturing rainwater for the garden but also protects the historic adobe structure from potential water damage. The recent installation of 4-inch pipes on the south and north sides of the building marks the completion of this years-long endeavor. Moreover, a 3,000-gallon tank has been designated to store emergency water for the Starlight Theatre. The community garden expresses its gratitude to all the volunteers who have played a vital role in creating and maintaining this beautiful vision.
