Marfa’s Hotel Paisano’s Greasewood Gallery has opened a new exhibit featuring the works of artist Kandice Pierce, which will be on display throughout the month of May. The exhibit, titled “Dreaming of West Texas,” showcases Pierce’s collection of oil and watercolor paintings, inspired by her travels throughout the region. Pierce, an interior designer and artist, hopes to capture the essence of the places she visits through her artwork and inspire connections for viewers. The exhibit opened with a welcome reception on April 29, and visitors are welcome to stop by the gallery on the corner of Highland and Texas Streets in Marfa during their regular business hours. For more information, contact gallery director Vicki Lynn Barge at 432-729-4134 or greasewood@hotelpaisano.com.
