In a recent meeting, Jeff Davis County commissioners selected Glen Eisen as the new county attorney to fill the unexpired term of Teresa Todd, who retired from the position on February 28. Eisen is a Tax Law lawyer with 32 years of experience and is licensed to practice law in Texas. He attended the University of Houston Law Center and has been a member in good standing with the Texas State Bar since 1991.
Todd served as the county attorney since January 2013 but retired in the middle of a four-year term, creating a need to find her replacement. Eisen will serve as county attorney until December 31, 2024.
As a sole practitioner and semi-retired attorney, Eisen brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. Though he specializes in tax law, Eisen’s legal background and extensive knowledge of Texas law will be beneficial in his new position.
