Photos: Chihuahuan Desert Gem & Mineral Club Attracts Rockhounds from Near and Far to Alpine, TX

The Chihuahuan Desert Gem & Mineral Club’s 32nd annual rock show is now underway at the Alpine Civic Center in Alpine, Texas. The show, which started today, runs through Sunday, April 16th, and features fossils, gems, and minerals from vendors across the country.

Visitors to the show can expect to find a diverse selection of gems, minerals, and fossils, from vendors who have traveled from all over the state and country, including Alpine, Marfa, Fort Davis, Balmorhea, Odessa, El Paso, Waco, and San Antonio.

The event is free to attend and is open to both kids and adults. According to Facebook reviews, the show has an excellent selection of gems and minerals for sale, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in geology, fossils, and minerals.
