Big Bend History: Alpine’s Holland Hotel in 1979

In Alpine, Texas, the Holland Hotel is a delightful boutique hotel that offers contemporary comforts with a touch of historic charm. Originally constructed in 1928 by JR Holland, a rancher, the hotel was designed by the esteemed architect Henry Trost. Over the years, it changed ownership multiple times until it was acquired by Greenwich Hospitality in 2012. Since then, the hotel has undergone restoration and renovation efforts by its new owners.
