Margaret’s in Marfa: Comfort Food Cooking Inspired by a Wildly Loving Nana

Margaret’s in Marfa is a dinner diner that opened its doors with the purpose of offering comfort food inspired by a beloved Nana who brought family and community together with her cooking. The menu features classic dishes such as Anchovies & Chips, Cheese Toast, Grilled Carrots, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Keylime Pie.

The restaurant is located in the Brite Building at 103 N Highland Ave, Marfa, TX, and is open from Wednesday to Saturday, 5 – 9:30 pm. They do not accept reservations, so diners are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot.

Margaret’s also offers take-out, but diners are advised to call ahead to ensure that the kitchen can accommodate their orders. All menu items are available for carry-out, except for the Eggplant Parmesan and Anchovies & Chips.

Margaret’s in Marfa was inspired by a woman who used her skills in the kitchen to bring people together. According to the restaurant’s website, “Margaret had a place and plate for everyone at her table – and now we do too.”
