The City of Alpine is hosting a free Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10 AM to 1 PM. The event, organized by Keep Alpine Beautiful, will take place at the lot on Murphy Street, near the Farmers Market. This year’s celebration is set to be an engaging and educational experience for all ages.
Visitors can expect a variety of activities, including educational booths focused on environmental topics, children’s activities, and a mural painting session. To keep the atmosphere festive, a bouncy castle will be set up for kids to enjoy, along with popcorn and snow cone stands.
In addition to the entertainment, the Earth Day celebration will also feature a plant sale, providing attendees with the opportunity to bring home new greenery to enhance their surroundings. As part of the event’s sustainability focus, a recycling tote giveaway will be held to encourage environmentally responsible practices.
