CatchLight Art Gallery was born from a group of local artists who participated in an art celebration in 2004. The group, known as the Moon Crafters, held shows in Alpine and Fort Davis. Later, they were invited to exhibit their work in a studio, which led to another series of shows. In 2006, they explored the possibility of opening a new gallery on Holland Ave, which became CatchLight Art Gallery. Today, the gallery showcases the work of local artists from the Big Bend area who are easy to get along with, help out, and create exceptional artwork.
