The Monahans Chamber of Commerce will host its 17th annual golf tournament May 16-17 at Ward County Golf Course.
The two-day event will feature a three-person scramble format, with multiple entry options that include mulligans and varying cart packages. Teams can choose from entry fees of $400, $450 or $500 depending on cart selections.
Organizers said the tournament will include prizes for top finishers, with payouts of $1,000 for first place, $800 for second, $600 for third and $400 for fourth. Additional contests include a hole-in-one giveaway, longest drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions.
Teams will be flighted after the first day of competition, with a blind improvement draw scheduled for Sunday. Range balls will be provided for participants.
The deadline to enter and make team changes is May 9. Officials noted that high school athletes will not be allowed to participate.
Players interested in reserving a spot must submit payment with registration. Hotel accommodations are available, and participants can contact the Monahans Chamber of Commerce for assistance with reservations.
